Today, October 7, first anniversary of Al Aqsa Flood operation, attacks in the ongoing war of aggression not only against Palestine, but also Lebanon, have intensified.
As we reported yesterday, during Sunday morning there were the most aggressive attacks against Beirut since the beginning of the criminal aggression towards Lebanon by the Zionist State. These attacks lasted all night with the same intensity.
During today, the Israeli army has continued its attacks, being specially focused in two fronts: Beirut, concretely in the densely populated neighborhood of Dahiya – where, as it did previously, Israel claims to only have attacked only Hezbollah targets – and the Southern towns and villages of Lebanon.
Southern towns as Bayada, Beit Lif, Haloussieh, Murakah, Ramadieh, Qana and Yater were brutally bombarded, the two latter were bombarded up to three times. The Agency of National News has reported that Israel attacked 30 villages in less than 30 minutes. In another city, Bint Jbeil, the Ministry of Health stated that Israel murdered 10 firefighters in only one attack. In the last 24 hours, Israel has murdered 22 people and left 111 wounded. The death toll rises to 2,080 murdered and 9.689 wounded. Additionally, many raids were conducted in towns like Al-Qalila, Al-Sama’iya, Ma’arkala Tyre and Balat.
Israel has stated that it has sent more troops to Lebanon to join the land invasion that is being carried out while demanding the inhabitants of the southern part of a sovereign country to evacuate themselves in a non-declared war against it.
But attacks on Israel have also being reported by different armed resistance forces.
Hezbollah today has published a statement for the Anniversary of October 7. It has highlighted “The full right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation by all means to restore their legitimate rights and remove the occupation.”, has praised the “courage of our fighter brothers in the support fronts in dear Yemen and great Iraq”. Finally Hezbollah has mentioned the decision of “open a support front on October 8 to support the Palestinian people and their honorable resistance”.
The Israeli Defense Forces have stated that during Sunday night, Hezbollah launched a group of drones against Haifa, the third biggest city of Israel and the biggest of the northern part, that resulted in six wounded people.
35 rockets were fired from Lebanon to Karmiel and Kfar Vradim areas, western of Galilee. It was reported about numerous damages in the area.
It was also reported about the elimination of a Israeli reserve sergeant and other two severely wounded soldiers after confrontations with Hezbollah.
