The anniversary day of the heroic counter-offensive strike of the Palestinian National Resistance, the “Al-Aqsa Flood”, has so far developed as it was to be expected: The Resistance celebrates its strike and the occupiers keep on murdering in the shadow of their events to cry crocodile tears. But what is remarkable today, is not the efforts of the genocidaires to excel themselves regarding the number of refugee camps in Gaza Strip they can bomb on one day, but what the people of Palestine and its National Resistance Front are still able to achieve after one bloody year of genocide. The resistance has carried out several actions this day so far, only proving, that the plans of the Israeli State are hopeless and that it will fail. Furthermore, today, so far, the Palestinian Resistance took initiative and went into offensive; the Zionists were targeted and their only way to respond was to massacre there, where they supposed the origin of the attack.

The Palestinian Resistance allegedly carried out its actions from Khan Younis, so this was what the genocidaires then started to target. After arresting 18 people in raids in Qalandiya Refugee Camp in East Jerusalem, injuring four children, murdering two Palestinians in raids against the Al-Bureij Refugee Camp, injuring seven at the newest attack against Nuseirat Camp and conducting other crimes, the occupiers announced an evacuation order in Khan Younis shortly after the strikes against Tel Aviv, followed by heavy bombings.

Later there came new evacuation orders for several towns and areas in the northern Gaza Strip, including Beit Hanoun, Beit Lahia and Jabalia. Shortly after, it was reported about combats between Al Qassam combatants and occupying forces in Jabalia. Five Palestinians in the camp were murdered in the noon. Shortly after, the al-Quds brigades joined and targeted a Merkava tank inside the camp. In the afternoon, more Palestinians in Jabalia were murdered by Israeli shelling, later at least ten by a bombardment.

This forenoon, Al Qassam Brigades launched a rocket attack on Tel Aviv, at least injuring several people. Israeli military spoke about five missiles from Gaza Strip, headed directly to Tel Aviv. There were alerts all around Tel Aviv and central Israel, when M90 rockets came towards Tel Aviv, Rishon, LeTsiyon, Holon and Ashdod:

Meanwhile in West Bank, al-Quds-Brigades were in heavy combats with the occupying forces in Tulkarem and Jenin, among other things detonating a powerful explosive device in a military bulldozer in the Nour Shams refugee camp.

In an Israeli bombardment in the afternoon that targeted citizens in the vicinity of Sheikh Radwan Pool, west of Gaza City, at least one Palestinian was murdered. At the same time, Qassam Brigades also targeted a Merkava tank in Al-Bureij camp. Next was a massacre of nine Palestinians in Rafah.

Later, several resistance factions bombed “all important military sites in the ‘Netzarim’ axis with a number of heavy-caliber mortar shells and 107mm rockets”.

Then the moment had come for Ansar Allah. While Qassam Brigades attacked 10 Zionist soldiers in northern Gaza Strip, killing and wounding them, three million Israelis in central Israel, especially Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, hat to flee and to find shelter from the missiles from Yemen in the early evening. The airport of Tel Aviv was shut down one more time, and the cynical commemoration events all over the country had to stop.

Ansar Allah declared: “For a year, we bombed more than (1,000 rockets and running), as well as we used boats in the seas, and our armed forces targeted (193) ships linked to the Israeli enemy, linked to the American and the British, and (11 American armed aircraft) of the type [MQ9] were shot down.”

At least Holon is reported to have been directly hit by the attack. Additionally, Qassam brigades had yet before that bombed the Sofa military site and the Israeli gatherings at the Rafah land crossing.

After one year of genocidal policy by Israel, and resistance and solidarity across the world, there are some numbers which reflect the way the genocidal reaction by the State of Israel has been1. Even if there is a death-toll given out by the Health Ministry of Gaza, there are sources such as Lancet which are stating that the number of casualties is much bigger, around 186,000 murdered people when it was released, on summer. Besides the constant bombardments, raids and massacres committed in many ways, seven mass graves have been discovered inside hospitals, and most likely many more will be discovered. 520 Palestinians have been retrieved from those mass graves2. This expresses how heinous the war-crimes committed by the State of Israel are and the genocidal strategy it carries out against the people of Palestine, which does not give up and increasingly receives support from the peoples all over the world.

Additionally there are around 5,000 prisoners from Gaza in Israeli jails, where it is widely known that all kind of crimes, tortures and mishandling are committed by Israel3, but even though, the Palestinian combatants continue challenging Israel, keep struggling and most the Palestinian prisoners join, when they are released, the ranks of Palestinian resistance again.

The State of Israel is constantly targeting healthcare services in order to prevent that the injured people receive medial treatment so the number of murdered people increases. Among those murdered there are 986 Palestinian medical staff members murdered, as well as 85 Palestinian Civil Defense and rescue team members. Also most of the healthcare means that the Gaza Strip had have been attacked, for example 31 ambulances have been destroyed; 34 hospitals have been put out of service as well as other 80 clinics and medical infrastructures. This has had catastrophic consequences: there are 12,500 cancer patients facing death and needing treatment, 1,737,524 people are affected by infectious diseases due to displacement; there are 71,338 cases of viral hepatitis infections due to displacement; there are 350,000 chronic patients at risk due to medicine shortages.

Other vital infrastructures have been also destroyed: 150,000 housing units completely destroyed and 125 schools and universities completely destroyed. As well as at least 60 percent of the agrarian land has been damaged or destroyed. The State of Israel has that clear: it has to commit a genocide and prevent that the People of Palestine will live in Gaza Strip anymore.

Currently there are 2,000,000 displaced people in Gaza Strip. 187 shelter centers have been targeted in a clear attempt to murder as many displaced people as possible, as obviously the Palestinian displaced people gather there in huge numbers.

The State of Israel also attempts to silence what it is doing in the Gaza Strip, so it is constantly targeting and murdering journalists, so far 175 have been murdered in Gaza. Additionally 200 UN workers have been murdered and several institutions have been targeted and accused by Israel of helping the National Resistance.

The Anti-Imperialist League statement has defined how the Imperialist States acted towards the Israeli crimes: “In the face of the genocide and brutality of Israel, supported by the imperialist coalition, in struggle and collusion, led by US imperialism, the politicians and security forces of “democracy and human rights apostle” States such as the USA, Germany and France have taken off their masks of “States that respect human rights and freedoms” and turned into fascist aggressors against the masses who embrace the Palestinian resistance.”

Even facing such a huge genocide with all the crimes committed by Israel which is basically trying to erase everything in Gaza, they have not been able to erase one thing: the Resistance. After 1 year, they could not recover the prisoners of war and they could not eliminate the Resistance, which is more united than before, determined to continue the struggle and which continues carrying out actions against the State of Israel. The Palestinian Resistance has been struggling against the Israeli occupation for decades and will continue doing it. But the Al-Aqsa Flood and the genocidal Israeli operation have triggered a further unity among the Palestinian resistance organizations, marking a new stage in the struggle of Palestinian National Liberation Forces against Israel. Had it already been a source of inspiration for the anti-imperialist forces, now even bigger solidarity with Palestine has been unleashed.
