9 Indian police eliminated in Chhattisgarh

At least nine Indian repressive forces personnel were eliminated today after a police vehicle was blown up by Maoist guerrilla members in the jungle area of Kutru in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. The troops were returning from their genocidal operations, which have been widely denounced by the Campaign Against State Repression (CASR) and by the Forum Against Corporatization and Militarization (FACAM).
The police, paramilitary and military personnel are the spearhead of the foreign and local corporations which want to loot the natural resources in Chhattisgarh, and in the process, they dispossess and expel the Adivasi peasantry. According to official figures recently given, 287 people have been killed by the old State in 2024, and being labeled as “Naxalites”, but being most of them innocent poor and indigenous peasants of the area.
This operation comes after that a recent statement by the Ministry of Interior, Amit Shah, who said that Maoist guerrilla will be crushed by March 2026.
