Turkey: Yaşar İnce was taken to hospital, prison administration did not inform his family

Imprisoned Partizan Yaşar İnce, who is held in Tekirdağ Type F Prison No. 2, was taken to the hospital, but the prison administration did not inform neither his family nor his lawyer.

Yaşar İnce, who has been imprisoned since 2006 and is serving a life sentence, was hospitalized due to suspected heart attack. On Wednesday, he was taken by ambulance to Tekirdağ City Hospital after complaining of chest tightness and heart pain, where he underwent an angiogram. It was reported that the arteries leading to his heart were clear, and he experienced chest tightness due to high blood pressure. Despite staying in the hospital for two days, the prison administration did not notify his family or guardian.

Yaşar İnce is listed among the sick prisoners by the Human Rights Association. He suffers from several health issues, including high blood pressure, diabetes, Hepatitis B, vertigo, and liver failure.
