Turkey: Imprisoned Partizan Aysel Kaya has been transferred

Imprisoned Partizan Aysel Kaya, who was held in Marmara Prison, has been transferred to Kocaeli Type F Prison No. 1.

Aysel Kaya was arrested on May 9, 2023, and jailed in Marmara Prison in Silivri, where she was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison on July 5, 2024. Throughout her imprisonment in Marmara Prison, Kaya was subjected to intimidation through communication restrictions, visitation bans, and cell punishments before being transferred.
