Israeli Forces Intensify their Attack against West Bank

The State of Israel has carried out dozens of raids on several locations in West Bank. This operation goes on at the same that as the genocidal operation against the Gaza Strip, the so-called “Operation Gideon’s Chariots”, on which we recently reported:
On Saturday 17th of May the Israeli forces opened fire on three Palestinians near the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, claiming they were throwing stones at illegal Israeli Jewish settler vehicles.
In the southern West Bank, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that a Palestinian civilian was shot and injured by Israeli soldiers at the Dhahiriya military checkpoint, south of Hebron.
The settlers have carried out several attacks being always protected by the Israeli troops: in the Barkan Industrial Zone near Salfit, at least 17 vehicles belonging to Palestinian workers were reportedly torched by settlers on the night of May 15.
Illegal Israeli settlers stormed several Palestinian properties in the northwestern area of the town of Bruqin, west of Salfit. Settlers attacked the properties and raised Israeli flags in the courtyards of the homes:
On Monday Israeli occupation forces shot and injured two Palestinian youth during a raid on the town of Sai’r. Another youth was detained. The occupation forces stormed a town on northeast of Hebron (al-Khalil) from the Ras al-Arouda area and opened fire on the men:
Since Wednesday evening, the army has besieged Bruqin. In the Tubas Governorate, Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man and also raided the city of Hebron in the southern West Bank and raided the homes of released prisoners freed in the last prisoner swap with Israel:
The army also raided the town of Idhna, west of Hebron, and raided and searched homes in the Wadi al-Bir area.
A raid was also carried out in the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, and two children were detained after their homes were raided.
The Israeli occupation forces continue their assault on the city of Jenin. Israeli forces stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin City and arrested a young man, after raiding his home amid drone surveillance. Occupation soldiers raided a house in the Jabriyat neighborhood near Jenin Camp, and opened heavy live fire inside the camp.
Nearly 600 homes have been completely demolished in the camp, while the remaining homes have been partially damaged and rendered uninhabitable.
The city of Jenin is witnessing massive destruction to homes, public facilities, and infrastructure—particularly in the eastern neighborhood and the Al-Hadaf area, the report noted.
One Palestinian was injured and 20 others were detained in Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, medics and rights groups said. On Wednesday morning, Israeli occupation forces stormed the eastern neighborhood of Jenin. Earlier on Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a diplomatic delegation at the entrance to the Jenin refugee camp.
The diplomats had arrived to assess the humanitarian situation in the camp, according to WAFA.
The delegation included the ambassadors of Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, the European Union, Brazil, Turkey, Spain, Russia, Chile, France, the United Kingdom, and several representatives of other countries, the report said.
The Israeli army also continues its attack on the city of Tulkarm and its camp, and against the Nur Shams camp, amidst escalating violence and heavy military reinforcements. In recent days, Nur Shams camp has witnessed a demolition campaign that has affected more than 20 residential buildings in its main neighborhoods, damaging neighboring buildings.
On Thursday the operations also continued and an Israeli assault against the town of Qabatiya, southern Jenin, took place. At least three Palestinians were shot and injured and five others teargassed:
In the town of Deir Abu Daif, east of Jenin, resistance combatants detonated a large explosive device targeting Israeli forces during the incursion.
