Actions for Comrade Basavaraj and the other martyrs of the People’s War in India

We hereby share a compilation of some actions done to commemorate the martyrs and protest the murders perpetrated by the old Indian State.
In Wien, Austria, a rally was called by Action for the Democratic Rights of the People (ADRV):
The rally was a success, gathering different forces such as “Action for Democratic Rights of the People (ADRV), Partizan, KOMintern (Communist Trade Union Initiative – International), Friends of the Filipino People in Struggle (FFPS) and ADHF, Palestinian organizations (such as the Arab Palestine Club) and other Turkish/Kurdish organizations”. The rally gathered in front of the Indian embassy, the focus was on the life and struggle of Comrade Basavaraj, soldiarity with the revolutionary struggle in India was expressed and also Austria’s support for the Modi government was condemned. ADRV announced that “The rally was the first demonstration to condemn the massacres by the Indian State and to defend the revolution, the people’s war, in India. More will follow.”
In Zurich, Switzerland, an action organized by PARTIZAN, CLASS THEORY, TSP, KKP, PDD and BİR-KAR was carried out. During the joint action, a joint press release prepared in German and Turkish on behalf of the present organizations was read. The action ended with slogans following the press release:
In France militants of the TKP/ML hanged up a banner greeting the 28 martyrs:
In Paris a commemoration held began with a moment of silence. Afterwards a MLKP representative commemorated Basavaraj and 27 People’s Warriors issuing a statement. At the commemoration, speeches were made on behalf of the TKP/ML, MKP and the Chilean Prisoners Solidarity Organization. The commemoration ended with the participants sharing their feelings and thoughts:
The National Bureau of the Ligue de la Jeunesse Révolutionnaire and Jeunes Révolutionnaires has honored the martyrs with a publication in social media:
Mobilizations took place also in front of the Indian consulates in Innsbruck, Austria, and Frankfurt, Germany. In Frankfurt, on May 31 at 16:00, a joint action was held in front of the Indian Consulate in Frankfurt by Partizan, Roter Bund, Class Theory and TSP. Slogans such as “Down with Indian Reactionism!”, “Comrade Basavaraj and 27 People’s Warriors are Immortal!”, “Long Live Proletarian Internationalism!”, “Martyrs of the Revolution are Immortal!” were frequently chanted:
In Istanbul, Turkey, several banners were hanged up by Partizan:
In Oslo, Norway, a graffito was done with the message: “Eternal Glory to Comrade Basavaraj and the 27 martyrs!”.
