India – Revolutionary Students’ Front on a repressive case against Comrades Vallika and Rejaz
We hereby share a statement published by the Revolutionary Students’ Front (RSF).
On 2nd June, Comrade Vallilka’s residence was visited by members of Maharashtra’s ATS (Anti-Terrorism Squad) who stated that they wanted to talk with her in regards with her connection with the fabricated case against Comrade Rejaz. Vallilka refused to come as they had come without any sort of notice or arrest warrant which they could present to call her for any sort of investigation or interrogation. After this, they went to threaten and intimidate her parents stating that if their daughter refused to comply they could “pick up her from anywhere” as they “know her location”. Later on, they mentioned that they could arrest her very easily without permission from a DM level judge in Delhi. In short, they threatened to abduct her and had the audacity to claim legal impunity.
Through such repeated coercions and the direct threat of abducting her and taking her to Nagpur, she was forced to appear for an illegal interrogation on 3rd June, 2025. Where she was interrogated for more than four hours, just on the basis that during a public programme she had a brief interaction with Comrade Rejaz. Along with this, they threatned her to shut down Nazariya magazine and stated that she was “walking down the wrong path” by criticizing Operation Kagar. They also kept making constant threats of abducting her to Nagpur in between the interrogation. They did not rest at just threatening her, they also made ridiculous Islamophobic claims against Comrade Rejaz. Along with this they presented a newly manufactured conspiracy theory which stated “Urban Naxals are losing their support base in Adivasi areas so they are aligning with Pakistani terror outfits to make up for it”. This is simply the LIC (Low Intensity Conflict) policy of the Indian State under the Surajkund Strategic Plan – which wants to shut down the Nazariya magazine. They do not understand that they cannot scare off the revolution!
Over the past few years, we have a seen disturbing trend of tagging all dissenting voice as either “Maoists” or as “Jihadists”, along with this the constant witch-hunting by various agencies such as NIA, ATS, APSIB, STF has resulted in the creation of numerous false conspiracy cases which has led to harrasment and arrests of hundreds of activists who have raised their voices against corporate sponsored loot and genocide of adivasis and the aggression of Hindutva Brahminical Fascism. These attacks are not isolated incidents, All of these attacks are part of Operation Kagar and Surajkund Policy which officially states that its goal is to “End Maoism” when in reality its actual goal is to stifle all dissent against the Hindutva Fascist conspiracy to serve foreign corporate interests.
They have consciously built up a narrative according to which opposing various “development projects”, which are nothing but mining projects that serve the interests of Adani/Ambani and their foreign overlords at the cost of the lives of adivasis just because they live on the lands that the Indian State is trying to usurp. The boastful and arrogant attitude of the fascist BJP-RSS after murdering 27 Maoists and mocking them using symbolia from the Bhagalpur massacre shows that even though they talk about “interests of the people of India”, they actually care for nothing but interests of the comprador bourgeoisie and foreign imperialist powers. On one hand they are murdering the people of the nation, which is completely unconstitutional and in open defiance of the supreme court’s ruling, and on the other they are selling the nation. As a whole, this Operation is nothing but a ploy to stifle all dissent against the state sponsored genocide and corporate loot.
We, Revolutionary Students’ Front, stand in solidarity with Comrades Vallika and Rejaz. We strongly condemn the fascistic behaviour of ATS and their attempts to kidnap Comrade Vallika. Along with this we demand the dropping of all false charges against Comrade Rejaz, and demand his immediate and unconditional release. We also appeal to all democratic and progressive individuals and organizations to build mass militant resistance against Operation Kagar and the Hindutva Brahminical Fascist Aggression on dissenting voices.
