Germany – Action Days on India: Events in Düsseldorf and Cologne

We hereby share an unofficial translation of an event announcement published by Avrupa Haber.

On May 21, Comrade Basavaraj, General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), along with 30 other comrades, was assassinated by Indian reactionaries as part of their campaign of encirclement and annihilation against revolutionaries in India. Only during the first half of 2025, several hundred communists, revolutionary fighters, and masses were killed.

In honor of the fallen General Secretary of the CPI (Maoist) and in memory of all revolutionaries who fell in India, Young Struggle, Partizan, and the Red League have called for actions in solidarity with their comrades in India to be organized or participated in between June 27 and July 6. As part of this, two events will take place in Düsseldorf and Cologne to remember the comrades, report on the current situation in India, and express solidarity together.
