Turkey: More Footage of the Struggle in Istanbul; 500 Protesters Released

The Turkish State has released more than 500 protesters detained during the struggles that took place on the 1st of May in Istanbul. We have recently reported on these protests:

According to the Progressive Lawyers Association (ÇHD), the 576 detainees were released yesterday.

Also 24 of the detained in the house raids prior to the 1st of May have been released, and they reaffirmed their will to struggle:

Several mobilizations took place across Turkey to protest against the repression in Taksim and to show solidarity with the protesters of Istanbul. The May 1st Taksim Initiative made a statement:

More footage has been released in social media, showing the combative character of the protesters, who faced the attack by police and showed a struggling attitude:
