Colombia: 1st of May in Bogotá

We hereby share a report published on the website of the International Anti-imperialist League (AIL) on May 11.

We are sharing the latest report from May 1st in Bogotá, where the march once again took place with the internationalist, independent, anti-imperialist, and a revolutionary bloc.

On this International Workers’ Day, we believe it is right to reclaim this day as the day of the exploited and oppressed peoples across the world, and as a day for political campaigning. This bloc fought to restore the true class character of May Day.

This day reminds us that it is the workers who build everything in this society, and that everything should belong to them. Yet all that is offered to them is oppression, misery, and every form of barbarism from imperialism. It is time to continue, deepen, and broaden the struggle for the rights of the people.

Long live Workers’ Day!
