Paraíba: UFPB students will hold a preparatory event for the 43rd ENEPe on July 7th

Independent pedagogy students at the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), João Pessoa campus, have organized a preparatory event for the 43rd National Meeting of Pedagogy Students (ENEPe). The event will take place on Tuesday, July 7th, at 10 a.m. in Room 303 of Block A at the UFPB Education Center.

A representative from the National Executive Committee of Education Students (ExNEPe) and Professor Leonardo Rolim, Ph.D., regional coordinator of the National Network for Research in Education (RePPed), have been confirmed to participate in the panel.

The theme will be the same as that of the 43rd ENEPe: Yankee imperialist aggression in Latin America and the World Bank’s intervention in Brazilian education: The role of pedagogy, teacher-training programs, students, and teachers in the struggle to defend public, free, and scientific education.

This event is part of a series of initiatives and preparatory efforts for the 43rd ENEPe that have been carried out by students of education in various regions of the country.

The preparatory events have spurred debate about the attacks by imperialism and the World Bank on Brazilian education, while also strengthening student mobilization in defense of public, free, and science-based education in the lead-up to the national gathering.
