Austria – ATİGF: Condolences for the Loss of Niyazi Tohumcu

We hereby share an unofficial translation of an obituary published by Avrupa Haber on August 26

A member of the Wörgl Association of Democratic Workers, affiliated with the Austrian Federation of Turkish Workers’ Youth (ATİGF), who was also a friend and comrade of ours, and served as a leader in our association for many years, we have learned with great sadness that our friend and comrade Niyazi Tohumcu, lost his life yesterday in a traffic accident while traveling in the Niksar district of Tokat.

We extend our deepest condolences to Niyazi Tohumcu’s family, loved ones, friends, and comrades, and we share in their grief.

His memory will live on in our struggle.
