The Yankee Imperialist War of Aggression on Iran – Day 191

Over the past week, the Yankee imperialist war of aggression on Iran has once again escalated. Since early August, the war of aggression has been marked by a period of relative calm, with the aggression mostly consisting of naval blockade actions, empty threats and economic sanctions. However, on August 30, Yankee imperialism once again attacked without provocation, striking the Iranian island of Larak, prompting defensive military actions in response from Iran.
In a defensive action, prompted by the Yankee attacks on Larak island, Iran fired missiles and deployed drones against US military assets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Jordan. In UAE, US forces and helicopters were targeted at the Al Minhad Air Base with dozens of attack drones. In Jordan, the King Hussein and Al-Azraq military bases were targeted, striking “technical and repair infrastructure, as well as the enemy fighter deployment sites,” The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated.
On September 1, US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated that strikes were carried out across Iran targeting “air defense sites, radar systems, maritime assets and facilities, mine laying capabilities, and communications sites.” On the same day, in yet another crime against the Iranian people, Yankee imperialism bombed a wedding in Sirik, in the southern Hormozgan province of Iran, murdering at least four people, including a child, and leaving more than 60 people injured. When asked about the strike, US Vice President J.D. Vance simply stated: “sometimes things happen.” According to the Iranian Health Ministry, in total, 18 people were murdered in the US strikes on September 1, and 142 were wounded.
In response to the attacks on September 1, IRGC reportedly launched missiles and deployed attack drones against US military assets in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain. In Jordan, IRGC reported on the launched strikes on the US Marine barracks at Camp Titin, located near the Gulf of Aqaba. According to the IRGC, the strike destroyed multiple military installations and attack helicopters, inflicting heavy casualties on US forces. In Kuwait, drone ramps and ‘headquarters’ were targeted at the Ali al Salem base. In Bahrain, strikes were reported on the US Navy’s 5th Fleet base in Bahrain, reportedly damaging a warehouse.
IRGC stated that ballistic missiles had been fired at a US aircraft carrier and a guided missile destroyer in the Gulf, as part of the defense against Yankee attacks on Iranian shipping. IRGC states that “the missiles damaged both warships and forced them to withdraw from the area out of fear of a follow-up strike.”
This escalation in the war of aggression has brought the shipping traffic through the Strait of Hormuz down to levels not seen since May, prompting the Brent Oil Crude benchmark to rise from 88 USD per barrel on August 28, to 97 USD per barrel as of September 7.
The amount of eliminated US soldiers admitted by Yankee imperialism so far stands at 18, while the amount of wounded stands at 794. These numbers should of course be read as what they are – the official numbers of the United States – numbers whose alteration has been thoroughly documented. The real number is likely much higher.
In another development in the region, clashes between Ansar Allah and the Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) have taken place in a recent offensive of Ansar Allah for the control of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait. This comes as the most deadly clash in many years – with more than 120 deaths so far reported – as Ansar Allah aims to cut off the port city of Mokha. The offensive has reportedly taken control of several elevated sites overlooking YAF positions near the Red Sea and the city of Taiz. Sources state that Ansar Allah could target ships from these elevated positions, marking a development in their aim of blockading the strait for ship traffic.
