“Stop Operation Kagaar!

With this post, we join the week of action called by the International AIL.

Since 2024, the Indian state has been conducting Operation Kagaar. Operation Kagaar is a campaign of annihilation against the Maoist movement in India. At the same time, however, the operation is also resulting in the murder and displacement of the indigenous Adivasi population in order to make way for mining monopolies on their land—all to benefit imperialist powers such as India’s largest partners—the US and the UK—as well as Germany, India’s largest trading partner within the EU. Likewise, left-wing protests in the cities—such as those for workers’ or students’ rights—are criminalized, linked to the Maoist guerrillas, and met with severe repression. Sexualized violence and torture are an integral part of the entire operation. This photo was taken together with internationalists in solidarity.

Stop Operation Kagaar! Down with the Hindutva-fascist Modi regime!”
