Russia: Actions for the Week of Solidarity with the Indian People
We hereby share a report of actions realized in Russia as a part of the Week of Solidarity with the Indian people, called for by the International Anti-Imperialist League, we have received.
Workers of the world, unite!
From Russia to India: down with repression and reactionary wars!
Full solidarity with the people’s war in India! Freedom for political prisoners and communist prisoners of war!
Russian communists fully support and join the international solidarity actions with Indian revolutionaries taking place this year from 26 September to 3 October. The people’s war in India is not merely a new-democratic revolution in India. It is a war against the global imperialist system. Resistance to genocide and repression in India is resistance to genocide and repression throughout the world. The Indian revolution is a shining beacon for the peoples of the whole world. This revolution is our conscience, calling on us to strengthen our forces and intensify our resistance to imperialism and reaction in our own country.
Solidarity with the peoples of India, who are fighting with arms in hand against the old state of landlords and bureaucratic capitalists, is important in its own right. It is the duty of every communist on the planet. But this solidarity is all the more important given the role played by the old Indian state and the gang of maniacs and sadists sitting in the Kremlin and at the head of the largest corporations in our own country. For years, Russian imperialism has supplied India with weapons, bolstering its own military-industrial complex for colonial military campaigns in Europe and Africa. Since the start of Russia’s genocidal war in Ukraine, India has become of immense importance to the Russian economy, serving as a transit country for the export of goods and capital. Russian imperialism is seeking new sources of labour in the form of cheap Indian workers, whom Russian enterprises have been bringing into the country since the start of the war. Naturally, this synergy between Russian imperialism and India’s exploiting classes exacerbates the suffering of both the peoples of India and the victims of Russian imperialism’s attacks in Ukraine and Africa. It also harms the peoples of Russia itself, especially the working class and members of oppressed nations.
Long live the people’s war in India!
The people’s war will inevitably triumph!
No to the alliance between Putin and Modi against the oppressed masses!
Yes to the unity of the oppressed masses in imperialist and oppressed countries!
The crimes committed by the old Indian state against political prisoners and prisoners of war provoke outrage and searing hatred. Russian communists stand in full solidarity with the call to free our comrades among the Jiramgati 10. The whole world must condemn the reactionary repression in India in the strongest possible terms and tear off the mask of ‘democracy’ from Modi’s fascist regime.
Freedom for the Jiramgati 10!
The intrigues of the reactionary old state with Indian opportunists and renegades must be condemned completely, in every respect and worldwide. In this regard, the Russian Communists express their full solidarity with and support for the Communist Party of India (Maoist), its struggle to strengthen its own ranks, destroy all traitors and advance the new-democratic revolution.
Long live the Communist Party of India (Maoist)!
Long live the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army!
Death to the opportunists, revisionists, traitors and all reactionaries!
