More Actions for the 7th of October

This year marks the 3rd anniversary of the operation Al-Aqsa flood, which has been celebrated around the world. We have already reported on a march of thousands in Istanbul, Turkey. We have gathered some more actions below:
In Norway, demonstrations and other actions were carried out in several cities.
Despite the reactionary campaign against 7th of October mobilization, which even included suspending pro-Palestine accounts on social media, hundreds of people gathered in Oslo to commemorate the resistance struggle. There were several speeches, slogans were chanted and the demonstration marched toward the Israeli embassy. There was also a smaller zionist counter-demonstration.
In Bergen on the 7th of October, dozens gathered for a demonstration in support of the Palestinian resistance movement. Participants marched through the city, and speeches and poetry were recited. The organizers’ report says police and municipal outreach staff monitored the gathering, with several police cars and a drone present. A resolution from the AIL in support of the Palestinian resistance was read out, and in the appeal of Kampkomiteen, all anti-imperialists were called upon to join the AIL.
In previous days the demonstration was called with hundreds of posters.
A demonstration was also held in Trondheim on the 7th of October. The program featured speeches, including one by Bassam Hussein of the Academic Network for Palestine. Kampkomiteen also reported putting up a banner supporting the Palestinian resistance movement on a pedestrian bridge in Kattem, south of Trondheim. The gathering concluded with a call to join a Palestine demonstration planned for 10 October.
In Kristiansand Kampkomiteen put up posters in support of the Palestinian resistance struggle.
n France, Palestine solidarity has been shown throughout the student protests in addition to the specific mobilizations for 7th of October.
In La Paillade neighborhood in Montpellier a surprise demonstration was carried out in support of the Palestinian people.
In Bolivia, Palestine demonstrations on the 7th of October were attacked by the police. Guardias Rojas Bolivia reported on the demonstrations being attacked, and denounced the attacks as defense of US imperialist interests at the hands of the Bolivian State.
In the Netherlands, a demonstration was carried out in Amsterdam with around 150 participants. REBEL! reports that there were clashes with zionists and police.
In the Philippines, organizations led by the Philippines-Palestine Friendship Association, Bayan and ILPS-Philippines marched to the US embassy in Manila to mark three years since the Al-Aqsa Flood and demand an end to the genocide in Palestine. They condemned US support for Israel and expressed solidarity with Palestinians’ struggle. Student groups in Mindanao also held actions in solidarity.
7th of October also marks the founding day of the Communist Party of Peru (PCP).
Peru People’s Movement (MPP) published a statement and a PCP document for the occation.
Dem Volke Dienen in Germany also published a translation of the PCP document: On the Rectification Campaign Based on the Document ‘Elections, No! People’s War, Yes!’
In Braga, Portugal, graffiti appeared around the city defending Chairman Gonzalo and Maoism. The article says the actions were signed by Anti-imperialist Action and a group called FRAÇÃO.
