International Protests Against the Yankee Imperialist Aggression Against Venezuela

Masses around the world continue the mobilizations and actions against the imperialist aggression of the US against Venezuela. We hereby share some of them.
In Rondônia, Brazil, activists, unions, student and democratic revolutionary organizations held a combative anti-imperialist event in Porto Velho under the slogan Yankees Out of Venezuela and Latin America! They denounced the aggression as an action of Low Intensity Conflict (LIC) in Latin America and highlighted the anti-imperialist struggle in Brazil, especially the struggle for the Agrarian Revolution carried out by the League of Poor Peasants (LCP).
In other rallies and demonstrations the organizations spread the anti-imperialist line, as in São Luís -where a US flag was burned- and in Florianópolis and Campinas, where the latest AND Editorial on the Yankee aggression was spread during the rally.




Partizan participated in a demonstration in Paris organized by the Student Union Federation (FSE) in which several anti-imperialist organizations participated. Flags of the Anti-imperialist League were seen during the event.

In Vienna, Austria, a protest was held in front of the US consulate. ITIF and other organizations participated. “Today, the target of these attacks is the Venezuelan people. However, this attack is not only against Venezuela, but also against the will for independence and freedom of all peoples who do not bow to imperialism” was stated in a speech.

In India, the Revolutionary Students Front (RSF) held a speech against the imperialist aggression on Venezuela.
Filipino workers, peasants, and the poor masses protested in Manila, Philippines. During the demonstration the “war on drugs” farce was denounced and several similar interventions done in Asia and Middle East countries were recounted. They demanded the immediate removal of all US military bases and facilities in the Philippines.

In Germany, the Red League participated together with other organizations in the rally and demonstration in Cologne. The demonstration was attended by over 50 people. Speeches highlighted the necessity of founding the Anti-imperialist League as an international, anti-imperialist organization that unites the struggles and resistance of the international working class and oppressed peoples against imperialism.

In Freiburg a graffito by the Red League was done calling to strength the Anti-imperialist Front.

In Norway Kampkomiteen participated in several demonstrations. In Oslo, Trondheim and Bergen the imperialist aggression was condemned and flags of the Anti-imperialist League were raised.






In Helsinki, Finland, a demonstration was held and Anti-imperialists Helsinki participated and held an anti-imperialist speech. They reported on social media that nearly 200 people attended.

In Greece the KKE (m-l) held demonstrations in Igoumenitsa and Chania, where there is a US military base.
