Chile: Event for the 150th Anniversary of Recabarren and Publication of his Writings

As we have previously reported, the newspaper El Pueblo organized an event for the publication of a recompilation of selected writings by Luis Emilio Recabarren, founder of the Communist Party of Chile as a section of the Communist International. This publication marks the 150th anniversary of his birth.

At the event, the newspaper El Pueblo presented a pamphlet highlighting that its ideas and actions “in light of the development of Marxism in its three component parts, recognizing that these ideas, even though they emerged from non-Marxist currents, fundamentally aligned with the same principles upheld by Marxism-Leninism.”
