The Yankee Imperialist War of Aggression on Iran – Day 147

On Thursday, US imperialist forces carried out attacks for the 13th consecutive night, as part of their imperialist war of aggression on Iran. Despite the continued criminal aggression and the numerous threats, the Iranian resistance has retaliated and responded without fear, causing extensive damage to US facilities in the Middle East.
Explosions have been reported in at least 16 places, among them the Shalamcheh border crossing with Iraq, where a US attack took place ahead of a major Shia religious holiday as thousands of Iranian pilgrims were at the crossing, showing once more the criminal and heinous character of the Yankee imperialist aggression.
Iran’s Health Ministry stated Wednesday that the latest phase of US attacks has resulted in the murder of 53 people and 592 others have been wounded.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that they targeted air defense systems, fuel depots, aircraft infrastructure and troop facilities. Among the targets there were: a radar belonging to the US THAAD missile defense and a Patriot missile defense battery in Jordan; an American electronic warfare unit, a large military equipment warehouse, a Patriot missile defense system and a hangar housing MQ-9 unmanned aerial vehicles in Kuwait; drone strikes have been launched on several targets in Bahrain, including the country’s Amazon data center, the Sheikh Isa Air Base and US fuel storage tanks. The IRGC issued separate statements explaining to the people of these countries that the target of these attacks are US facilities.
On the other hand, the IRGC denounced reports claiming Tehran had targeted a Kuwaiti electricity generation facility. They rejected these allegations as part of an “Israeli false flag” operation intended to fabricate attacks against civilian infrastructure and misrepresent Iranian military operations’.
The Yemeni resistance has started a blockade of Bab el-Mandeb Strait, banning Saudi shipping, but denied a total shutdown of the strait. Earlier on Thursday, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced that Yemeni forces had carried out a military operation targeting two Saudi oil tankers—Encelia and Layla. A Saudi official stated that the tanker Encelia, operated by a Saudi company, was struck during its voyage, causing a fire to break out in the vessel’s bow.
Oil prices have again surged. The Brent Crude benchmark rose by $6.58, or 6.96 percent, to $100.65 a barrel, exceeding $100 for the first time since late May. The justified retaliations of Iran are increasingly concerning the lackey States of Yankee imperialism in the region. Oman has recently expressed its fears and called for de-escalation.
The genocidal and war-criminals Marco Rubio and Donald Trump have threatened and lied, as usual. Marco Rubio mentioned that Iran is “begging for a deal” and “clearly not serious about making a deal that they will live by” and that it will “pay a very heavy price for the things they are doing”. However, reality shows something different: it is Yankee imperialism which is begging for a deal, having made a proposal for a new ceasefire that has been rejected by Iran. The proposal has been delivered by the lackey Iraqi Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi. Yankee imperialism shows its desperation after being defeated by the Iranian resistance, which achieved a political and military victory with the Memorandum of Understanding that recently had been signed between both countries. Now it is trying to impose more favorable conditions, but the efforts are being thwarted, as the will of struggle of Iran has not been quelled, rather, it has been encouraged.
The resumption of criminal attacks by Yankee imperialism has not brought anything good for it: the lackeys in the Middle East are growing increasingly restless; the attacks are failing to break the Iranians’ will to fight; oil prices and insecurity in the region’s straits are rising again; military assets in the region are increasingly coming under attack, and more and more caskets are returning to the United States. These are the results of an imperialist aggression committed by a paper tiger—fearsome in appearance, yet weak in the face of the resistance from the peoples of the Middle East.
