Mobilizations in Front of Indian Consulates Condemn the Old Indian State

Mobilizations on occasion of the “Independence” Day of India (August 15) took place in front of the Indian Consulates in Birmingham, England, and New York, United States.

The Joint Committee to Stop Repression in India (JSCRI) organized a rally along with other forces in front of the Indian Consulate of Birmingham, calling for the release of the prisoners detained in the bogus Lucknow Conspiracy Case. They demanded freedom for all political prisoners in India.

Stop Operation Kagar New York Coalition held a rally in front of the Indian Consulate in this same city, in United States, demanding “divestment from international organizations funding genocide”.
