Chile: Raffle in Support of Rapper of the Rebel HipHop Collective Bandera Roja

We hereby share a raffle that has been shared in order to support the rapper Bandera Roja of the Rebel HipHop Collective of Chile.

We want to share and help spread the word about this solidarity campaign in support of our brother and comrade Bandera Roja.

For those of us who are part of the Colectivo HipHop Rebelde, to speak of Bandera Roja is to speak of a comrade who has put his art, his words, and his convictions at the service of the people’s causes.

We have shared spaces, discussions, conversations, music, activities, and struggles. That is why today we want to stand by him and do everything in our power to help during this difficult time he is facing.

We call on our comrades, friends, and everyone who can contribute—whether financially or by spreading the word.

We believe in solidarity among those of us who share the same community and the same reality. In times when so often each of us has to solve our problems on our own, it’s also important to remember the importance of reaching out to one another, organizing, and being there when one of our own needs support.

Our brother has given so much of himself through his art and his commitment, and today we want to return some of that love by standing with him as a community.
