There have been issued two calls for this Demonstration in Commemoration of the founders of the KPD, Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht, and the Great Lenin that will take place next weekend, Sunday, 14th of January, in Berlin:
LET US FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF LUXEMBURG, LIEBKNECHT AND LENIN, THE GREAT MASTER OF MLM, TO OVERTHROW THE “GIANT WITH FEET OF CLAY”!
“In his farewell address, Comrade Lenin called upon us to remain faithful to the principles of the Communist International. We promise you, Comrade Lenin, that we will not spare our lives in order to strengthen and extend the unity of the workers of the whole world – the Communist International” (Stalin).
From the point of view of the working class and the oppressed peoples, the imperialist system has been an order of exploitation and plunder for more than a century, characterised by hunger, poverty, massacres, endless wars of aggression and division, destruction of nature for excessive greed for profit, oppression of the peoples by sovereign states at all levels. This order of exploitation, plunder and brutality is not the destiny of humanity and must be destroyed.
Comrade Lenin, the leader of the world proletariat and the oppressed peoples, the great master of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, who transformed the socialist future from an utopia into a concrete reality, described this rotten system with all its basic features more than a hundred years ago. Not only did he describe it, but also put forward teachings of enormous importance for its elimination. Those who have embraced these lessons have established new democratic people’s governments and socialist governments in different parts of the world, showing that this system of exploitation and robbery can be destroyed and that it is possible to establish an alternative system. By uniting with the destructive and creative power of the international proletariat and the oppressed peoples, we have overthrown imperialism in more than a third of the world, and we can do it even more. We have the communist purpose and determination to overcome what comrade Gonzalo, one of the great communists of our time, called the “obstacles” on our long and difficult road. Above all, we believe in the strength of the international proletariat and the oppressed peoples.
The oppressed peoples of the world give the necessary answer to all the reformist and order-loving masters who propagate imperialism and the imperialists as an “absolute power”, who preach obedience to the system by propagating the indestructibility of this rotten system, by resisting and fighting back. The protests, the actions in defence of the rights, the anti-fascist and anti-imperialist actions in different regions of the world, including the imperialist countries, are concrete indicators of the anger of the working class and the oppressed peoples against the existing system and the search for an alternative. Whatever the imperialists and their henchmen of all kinds do, they cannot make the oppressed of the world their docile slaves.
THE HEROIC RESISTANCE OF THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE IS A DAGGER IN THE HEART OF IMPERIALISM AND ITS SERVANTS IN THE MIDDLE EAST!
The Palestinian national liberation and anti-colonial forces, who have stripped the imperialist system, which comrade Lenin called a “giant with feet of clay” and comrade Mao called a “paper tiger”, of its “giant” and “tiger” characteristics and turned it into “clay” and “paper”, have shown who is the real “giant” and the real “tiger” for those who are oppressed, quelled and ignored. The Zionist state of Israel, which is supported by a big part of the imperialist powers, especially the US imperialism, which has all kinds of war material, including nuclear bombs, and which has been presenting itself as “invincible” to the peoples of the world for years, has suffered a great defeat by the Palestinians, who are living in an “open-air prison”. The Israeli state, which was inferior to the Palestinian national liberation forces and whose bubble of “invincible state” has burst, has succumbed to the Palestinian national resistance, despite the efforts of the world reaction, especially US imperialism, to legitimise the massacres and to show that it has achieved a “victory” by slaughtering thousands of babies and children, defenceless women and men, old people. The anti-Israeli demonstrations and protests in many parts of the world, despite the repressions and prohibitions of sovereign states, are one of the indicators of this.
As MLM, we declare that in the struggle of the Palestinian people against national oppression and colonialism, in order to realise the interests of the people, the Communist Party must be formed in accordance with the general political line of MLM and take the leadership of the movement. Furthermore, we call upon all communist, revolutionary and progressive forces to support and strengthen the struggle of the Palestinian people who are making great sacrifices.
LET US UNITE THE ANTI-IMPERIALIST POWER OF THE INTERNATIONAL PROLETARIAT AND THE OPPRESSED PEOPLES!
The contradiction between imperialism and the oppressed peoples, one of the main contradictions of the era of imperialism and proletarian revolutions, has become more visible with the national resistance of the Palestinian people. The more the crisis of the imperialist system deepens, the more the conflicts between the imperialists intensify and the more the burden of these conflicts and confrontations falls on the peoples of the colonial and semi-colonial countries, the more the contradiction between imperialism and the oppressed peoples and nations will be revealed.
The deepening and widening of the crisis of the imperialist system makes international anti-imperialist alliances an urgent necessity. The Anti-Imperialist League, which was called for by the MLMs on the occasion of Mao Tse-tung’s 130th birthday to create anti-imperialist organisations from different parts of the world, is an important step to meet this urgent need.
LENIN LIVED, LENIN LIVES, LENIN WILL LIVE!
It is essential to understand the thoughts of comrade Lenin, the great leader of the international proletariat, and to help shape the long, difficult and complicated process that will lead to communism.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of the communist leaders of the German proletariat, Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht, by the German Social Democratic government, the representatives of German imperialism, we, as the owners of the unique heritage to which they dedicated their lives and which they left to the generations after them, commemorate their ideals and commit ourselves to keep their ideals alive.
Lenin, the great teacher of the international proletariat, continues our struggle!

Long live our struggle for the people’s democratic revolution, for socialism and communism!

This year’s Lenin-Liebknecht-Luxemburg demonstration takes place in a situation in which the liberation struggle of the people of Palestine has once again become the focus of the international and national class struggle. This is an expression of the fact that the most important contradiction in the world is that between imperialism and the oppressed nations. Our celebration of the life and work of the founders of the Communist Party of Germany – Liebknecht and Luxemburg – and of the great teacher of the international proletariat – Lenin – whose death anniversary this year is the one hundredth anniversary, cannot and must not take place in the microcosm of the German left philistinism, but must take place in the midst of the class struggle. The effects of the aggression of imperialism and the Israeli state against the people of Palestine and the necessary and justified protest of important sections of the people here in Germany against it and the fascist attacks of the German state and its repressive authorities against them, which involves the demonization of entire parts of the population in order to advance the division of the working class into domestic and foreign workers and to hinder the construction of the anti-imperialist movement, has made this question the decisive political question today for every communist and revolutionary at this immediate moment. Those who have steadfastly from the very beginning, without wavering, carried out and are carrying out a clear and unequivocal support for the struggle of the Palestinian people are the only ones who are really following the path of Lenin, Liebknecht and Luxemburg.
The military and political offensive launched by the National Resistance Front of Palestine on October 7, 2023, is an event that marks a new stage in the long and heroic struggle of a people like no other. It is a sign that fully confirms that we have entered a new period of revolutions and wars of all kinds, which will shake the globe more and more.
The task of the communists, revolutionaries, progressives and the people in general is to further develop and strengthen the world anti-imperialist movement in support of it.
The national liberation movement in Palestine today is led by what is in fact a National Resistance Front, consisting of up to 15 organizations, of very different political character, but united in closed ranks in this war, adhering to national unity and rejecting the enemy’s attempts to divide the people, as the mainstay to counter the Zionists’ genocidal war – a justified minimal program that corresponds to the concrete situation.
The State of Israel, as it had to be after its defeat on October 7, is trying to turn the situation into a blow of its strategic plan of forced resettlement (ethnic cleansing) and genocide against the people of Palestine. They want to occupy Gaza, continue the total occupation of the West Bank and expel the Palestinians from their land – a heinous and vicious crime against humanity. What has prevented and will prevent the execution of this plan is the resistance of the people of Palestine, mainly in its armed form, and its firm will to fight, which once again confirms the truth that fighting is the only way to survive.
We denounce the sinister role of German imperialism, which protects, facilitates and promotes the ongoing genocide through its hypocrisy, its crude and false defense of human rights. It is a true war criminal. The Zionists are the ones who massacre the people of Palestine, but the puppeteers are based in Berlin, among other places.
We denounce revisionism and opportunism of all kinds that reject the National Resistance Front, chauvinists and imperialist lackeys who serve the bloody War on Terrorism of the USA, enemies of the people who must be expelled from the workers’ and people’s movement. Without a merciless struggle against these criminals, the anti-imperialist struggle is an empty phrase.
As Marxist-Leninist-Maoists, we know very well that the masses of the people of Palestine can only conquer a state that corresponds to their true interests through the People’s War, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Palestine. The reconstitution of this party is the only thing that guarantees the path of the people in Palestine. But this Communist Party of Palestine will not be born from the constructs of intellectuals, but in the midst of the flames of war. That is why the task is to provide ideological, political, moral and material support to our comrades in Palestine, who are in the midst of armed struggle, with decisive actions of all kinds.
We call on all communists, revolutionaries, workers, youth and all progressive people to strengthen the actions in support of the struggle of the people of Palestine in order to progress in building and developing a powerful anti-imperialist movement. In connection with this, it is the task of the communists and revolutionaries to launch the campaign to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth of Chairman Mao, to promote and use this as a weapon to unite more firmly under Maoism and to irreconcilably combat revisionism and opportunism and any kind of liquidationism. Maoism is the only red banner under which the real continuers of the work of the great Lenin and the leaders of the KPD can resolutely and consistently advance.
