21/07 The 51-year-old trucker Babis Garantonakis lost his life in Agios Nikolaos Distomou. The truck he was driving had a brake problem and after the worker did everything to avoid injuring or killing passers-by, the vehicle derailed and fell into a cliff.

12/08 The 65-year-old worker Nadia Podubnaya was found charred inside the company where she worked, during the fire in Northeast Attica.

16/08 A 22-year-old immigrant from India was seriously injured and is in danger of losing his life when, while asking for work at a construction site on the Northern Road axis of Rethymno, he was hit on the head by a heavy object.

17/08 Three young workers, 15-year-old Alexandros Symianakis, 18-year-old Nikos Tzagarakis and 20-year-old Thodoris Tzanidis, died when their car collided with a minivan on their way back from work as waiters at a wedding reception for the mayor of Chania. Another worker, 22 years old, who was in the car, is fighting for her life.
