Yesterday Israel bombed residential buildings in the area of Haret Hreik, southern suburb of Beirut. The Israeli military called that a “precise attack”, but so far there are six murdered and more than 100 injured people in a densely populated area and they have leveled to the ground six residential buildings, by using one ton bombs. So far, the death-toll has reached 720 people murdered this week. But this number might considerably increase during the following hours.
The General Secretary of Hezbollah, Hasan Nasrallah, is among the murdered people by Israel in the bombardments on the southern suburbs of Beirut, specifically in Dahiyeh. Al Manar confirmed that today. He joins the ranks of dozens of leaders of Hezbollah murdered by the State of Israel, as it has happened with many Hamas leaders, as with was the case of Ismail Haniyeh in July. Hezbollah has greet the sacrifice of its leader, expressing their firm will to continue the struggle. The same happened with many other murders of leaders of the resistance forces, as killing some leaders, does not prevent the peoples of Middle East to continue resisting the Israeli and Yankee aggressions.
Meanwhile, Yankee imperialism plays its theater of anger, surprise and rejection to the Israeli offensive, with many bourgeois press monopolies speaking about the US pressures to Israel to stop the war, the concerns about the victims, etc. The same theater played on Gaza when the genocidal operation started there. But the truth is, according to the data provided by different research institutions, that US has not just stopped but increased the military aid to Israel, being 2023 the highest peak of military aid provided.
The solidarity expressed by the Yemeni people has caused that the imperialists are once more targeting Yemen. On Friday US and UK troops carried out new attacks on Yemen’s northern province of Saada. But this is not preventing the Yemeni masses to flood the streets of its country. Yesterday a mobilization of millions took place in Sana’a.
