Lebanese resistance frustrates Israel

We continue our reportage on Israel’s war of aggression against Lebanon.

Lebanese Forces are continuing to avoid decisive engagements with Israeli forces, as the IDF tries to expand the breadth of its ground operations in southern Lebanon. Israeli forces in southern Lebanon have been frustrated by the resistance preferring guerrilla tactics, engaging from a distance, using anti-tank missiles and rockets, opposed to close-quarters combat in border villages retreating shortly after engaging the enemy. The widespread use of improvised explosive devices (IED) and mines is reported. Especially Hezbollah combatants have been reported well organized, prepared and equipped.

The IDF 98th Division withdrew from Odaisseh and Kfar Kila in southeast Lebanon, according to Lebanese sources. The aggression in that area began on October 1. The IDF 98thDivision afterwards conducted operations in several unspecified villages in other parts of southeastern Lebanon on October 9.

The IDF 35th and 89th brigades reportedly were engaged close-ranged. How pity their success is can be seen by the fact that they triumphantly report on the seizure of hundreds of rounds of ammunition and finding one underground storage with some guns left.

Hezbollah combatants attacked Israeli forces near the towns of Blida and Mays al Jabal with IEDs, mortars, and rockets. Repeated engagements between Israeli forces and Hezbollah combatants near Blida on October 9 were reported as well.

The IDF Golani Brigade reportedly had to push Hezbollah Radwan special operations forces away from northern Israeli towns.

Meanwhile satellite imagery captured on October 5 proved the claims that the IDF is sheltering behind UNIFIL by showing Israeli armor grouped adjacent to an Irish UNIFIL outpost in Maroun al Ras. Irish UNIFIL officials confirmed this also and said the IDF moved northward from the post on October 8 – after three days.

Continuous engagements between Israeli forces and Hezbollah combatants near Ras al Naqoura were also reported. Hezbollah fired anti-tank guided missiles, mortars, and rockets targeting Israeli forces trying to advance into Labbouneh. Resistance forces similarly attacked Israeli forces near Ras al Naqoura with rocket fire.

Hezbollah has conducted at least 14 attacks into northern and central Israel targeting the Upper Galilee, Western Galilee, and southern Golan Heights. Hezbollah continued to attack Israeli soldiers concentrated along the northern Israel-Lebanon border. Hezbollah fired mortars and rockets targeting Israeli troops in Avivim, Yiftah, Misgav Am, and Manara.

Hezbollah published footage of drones targenting several critical sites in Haifa, Nahariya, Kiryat Shmona, Safed, and the Golan Heights. Hezbollah previously published three other footage reels of critical Israeli sites in northern Israel.

IDF 210th Division soldiers stationed in the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights have cried that the IDF provides inadequate protection against the Iraqi combatants drone attacks. They were whining to spent “long hours” in shelters almost every night over the past week because “the ability to intercept threats is low.” The IDF General Staff seems to be aware of “gaps in protection in the area” but is probably impotent to resolve the issues.

Unknown combatants carried out a rocket attack targeting Yankee forces at Conoco Mission Support Site in the Deir ez Zor Province, Syria, on October 9. Syrian sources reported that US forces retaliated by bombing sites in the non-occupied parts of the Deir ez Zor Province.

On 10th of October, the Israeli occupation army announced the death of one of its soldiers and the serious injury of another in the battles taking place on the border with Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes launch a series of raids targeting the city of Al-Khiam, Al-Mashouq, Aita al-Shaab, Al-Khiam, Yahmar al-Shaqif, Ramadiyeh, Zawtar al-Gharbiya, Dibbin, Nafakhiya, Deir Kifa, Deirantar, Barashit, Safad al-Battikh, Shaqra. The Israeli artillery was shelling Al-Khiam, Naqoura and Shebaa.

Combat action were reported from the Ras al-Naqoura area. The resistance spotted the IDF and targeted it with missiles and appropriate weapons, achieving confirmed hits. The resistance also confronted the Israeli forces that penetrated the Al-Mushairfa area in Ras al-Naqoura destroying at least two enemy vehicles.

This attempt to advance was done by a column of tanks and vehicles, which were targeted with missile weapons and confirmed hits were achieved, which led to them catching fire and eliminated at least one of the tanks crew. The targeted force consisted of five tanks and infantry soldiers.

Later this day Israeli soldiers were targeted in the vicinity in Al-Mushairfeh – Ras Al-Naqoura again, while they were trying to withdraw the casualties with a rocket salvo, and were hit directly.

On the morning of the border front, there were barrages and rockets from the resistance towards the occupied territories, Metula, Kiryat Shmona, Margaliot and Al-Manara.

During the day attacks were reported on the vicinity of the Marj site, in Beit Hillel, Maayan Baruch, Kafr Jaladi and on the Karmiel settlement.

Close range clashes and confrontations were reported at the Mays al-Jabal – Muhaibib – axis. Israel targeted the area’s surroundings with artillery and phosphorous shells – by international conventions banned burning weapons.

Seven wounded soldiers were transferred from the combat zone in Lebanon.

Two UNIFIL soldiers were slightly injured in an Israeli attack. This was one of three attacks of the international force’s sites by Israel.

Israel is arguing in the same genocidal way as for Gaza by e.g. claiming that in southern Lebanon there are “Hezbollah villages”, as the Haaretz did, while Israeli ministers speaking of an “enemy population”. Hence, Israels war crimes in its war of aggression against Lebanon became ever more genocidal due to its intentions and statements.

Meanwhile the Yankees are trying to white-wash itself by claiming it has tried to broker a ceasefire but unfortunately failed. In the recently published book “War” by Bob Woodward they went that far to let Biden refer to Netanyahu as a “son of a bitch”, but this is just part of the theater they are carrying out. In fact, the Yankees are directing Israeli actions. US-President Joe Biden spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday as Israel calibrates its expected strike against Iran. Today the Israeli war cabinet will take decisions. The call lasted 30 minutes and was “direct” and “productive,” as the White House press secretary said. The “Democrats” candidate, Kamala Harris was also on the call.
