Students and professors honored G.N. Saibaba’s strength, ideals, and his struggle. As the sun set on Sunday, a sea of students, professors, and activists gathered in front of the Sabarmati Hostel at Jawaharlal Nehru University to pay tribute to Professor G.N. Saibaba. As they gathered to honor his memory, chants of ‘Political Prisoners Ko Rihaa Karo’ (Freedom for Political Prisoners) and ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ (Long Live the Revolution) filled the air. The surroundings were decorated with photos, posters, and Saibaba’s quotes.
