International News Briefing: important anti-imperialist events in Colombia, Norway and Germany

We hereby share some resumes of news published in revolutionary press during this month of November.
Colombia
At the beginning of the month important activities were carried out in the framework of the impulse of the Anti-Imperialist League. A forum was carried out, entitled “Imperialism, the continuation of a censored reality”, with the participation of several organizations and activists. Nueva Democracia reports that “the role of imperialism in the wars of aggression against oppressed countries, the resistance of the peoples for their liberation was upheld, and specific denounces against transnationals and multinationals were done”.

Also it was reported that there was “an important meeting to move forward with the formation of a Anti-Imperialist People’s Front in the country”. Organizations and people from all over the country and even Ecuador were present. Points of unity were agreed by the Anti-Imperialist People’s Front:
1) Struggle for the defense and conquer of rights for the people.
2) Anti-imperialist struggle and proletarian internationalism.
3) Independence from the State, from the governments of the moment and from the different electoral parties.
4) Class position and assumption of the class struggle as the driving force of history.
5) Action and mobilization of the masses as the main form of struggle.

Norway
In the past weeks Kampkomiteen has carried out several events to which dozens of people attended. One of the events took place at the end of October in Bergen, where an open meeting on anti-imperialism was made, along with pro-Palestine organizations. An unconditional support to the Palestinian Resistance was expressed. The activists also expressed how anti-imperialism has been impulsed since 7th of October 2023. A presentation on the Anti-Imperialist League (AIL) was made. The activists made a presentation on the struggle of the Brazilian peasantry, taking as an example the Battle of Barro Branco.
Germany
An event on the peasant struggle in Latin America, with examples of Brazil, Ecuador and Mexico, will take place on November 24 in Leipzig.
