29th Congress of the Austrian Turkish Workers’ Youth Federation (ATİGF)
We hereby share an unofficial translation of a call published by Avrupa Haber.
One of the component parts of AGEB, the Austrian Turkish Workers’ Youth Federation (ATİGF), will hold its Ordinary Congress in Innsbruck on 1-2 March 2025.
In this context, where imperialist aggression continues to increase in the world, a call was made to the Congress with the slogan “Let’s raise the anti-imperialist struggle against imperialist wars!”.
The Executive Committee of ATİGF issued a statement:
“The imperialist capitalist system is a system of exploitation, plunder, war, occupation, annexation, massacre and oppression. The increasing conflicts and regional wars between the cliques of imperialist monopolistic capitalists, which exploit the vast majority of the world through oppressive mechanisms, indicate that the danger of a new imperialist war of division is increasing. It is among the most important tasks of the current process to organize the increasing anger of the oppressed workers and toilers of the world, the oppressed nations and the oppressed peoples, to support the ongoing struggles and resistances, and to increase the unity and solidarity of the anti-imperialist and anti-fascist revolutionary forces.
With this awareness, with the perspective of organizing the struggle of local and migrant workers, youth and women together against the rising racism and reaction in Austria and Europe, we will hold the 29th Congress with the slogan ‘Let’s raise the anti-imperialist struggle against imperialist wars!’. We invite workers and toilers of all nationalities, revolutionary democratic institutions and friends, and all our veteran comrades who have supported our struggle so far!”
