Worker killed during Military Police operation in a favela
With a stray bullet, the Military Police killed a 51-year-old worker during a military operation in the Chapadão Complex, in Rio de Janeiro. In response, the population of the favela set up barricades to prevent the police from entering the favela and showed banners against the presence of the Military Police in the area, who have occupied the area since August 2024.
War operation in the Jabaeté neighborhood
Under the excuse of arresting alleged traffickers, the Military Police carried out a military operation marked by the abuse of force that terrorized the residents. They invaded their homes without a warrant, searched residents and woke up a resident with visual problems slapping him. Nor did they allow the Support Committee to approach the newspaper A Nova Democracia, when it tried to approach to cover the news.

Putting up posters in homage to Professor Fausto Arruda ends in repression
The Committee in Support of A Nova Democracia de Recife carried out a campaign in homage to Professor Fausto Arruda in several universities in Recife, which ended with posters torn down and persecution by private security agents of the universities persecuting and intimidating them. Peasant demonstration in Tupanciretã
The Landless Rural Workers’ Movement (MST) held a demonstration against silviculture in several cities of Rio Grando do Sul. High school students mobilized in several centers
Teachers and students from the UPE School of Application supported the canteen personal of their center by taking to the streets with posters demanding the payment of back wages. In another high school, in Dom Helder Câmara, they mobilized against the precariousness of its infrastructure.
