Turkey: Prisoner Partizan Serkan Güllü Convicted to Life Sentence

Partizan Serkan Güllü, who is in Elazığ No. 1 F Type Prison, was sentenced to life imprisonment and additionally 30 years more in prison.

The final hearing of Serkan Güllü, who has been held captive since 2019, was held today at the Tunceli High Criminal Court. Following the final defense of Serkan Güllü and his lawyer, the court announced the verdict. While a life sentence was given for “attempting to overthrow the constitutional order,” a total of 30 years in prison was given for numerous allegations.
