Brazil: The leader of the massacre of Buritis tries to intimidate the journalists of AND

Hereby we share a unofficial translation of an article of A Nova Democracia.

Gesulino Tavagini Castro, a bandit condemned for the massacre of Buritis/Jacinópolis, that took place 2012 in Rondônia, is trying to intimidate the journalists of AND. His personal anger comes from the fact that the Newspaper is denouncing his attacks, that have been also filmed personally by himself, against peasants areas in Machadinho D’Oeste, in Rondônia, a thing that we can only classify as typically paramilitary.

The failed intent of intimidation by the condemned criminal was made on the social media Instagram. “You’ll take (sic) my name to Christ. Everything that happens will be me”, cries the criminal. He also mentions that we are citing his mother in one of our reports, but fact is that she was only mentioned because she was proven of providing arms in the process of the massacre of Buritis – that was prepared by Gesulino in 2012, according to the judge of the jurisdictional power of the old State.

In the other message, Gesulino claims that he wasn’t present in the attacks on the peasants areas, because he was “partying” and after the celebrations he discovered a “tumor in his butt”. „I couldn‘t even walk on that Sunday“, he states shamefully. If we look at the history of him, who has been condemned for the Massacre of Jacinópolis, we come to the conclusion that the tumor is in his head, what really doesn’t make no difference in this case.

In a third insane message, Gesulino accuses the AND for having “attacked woodpeckers” (?) in Rondônia. The editorial staff of AND is located in Rio de Janeiro.

Its obvious that these three insane messages, wont achieve that our platform stops denouncing the deeds of this condemned criminal who is attacking peasant areas in Machadinho D’Oeste, especially in the Área Gedeon José Duque.

At last but not least, it is proving that Gesulino is a condemned man that already has a strange interest in attacking peasants land, be it for money or not. He personally filmed videos of his deeds on the area of Gedeon and published it on Instagram, even though he has deleted it afterwards, the peasants been faster and downloaded the videos, which are available now in the internet (see beneath). He also was arrested in flagrant for illegally carrying weapons and for owning a bulletproof police west, a crime with punishment of imprisonment without parol.

For the editorial staff of AND it doesn’t matter, how many crimes Gesulino committed, cause they don’t let get intimidated by him. If Gesulino thinks that we journalists are afraid of his boldness, like he supposes when he is crying, is cause he must be confusing our editorial staff with some small luxurious foyer of a media monopoly or with the stinking offices of the big landlords press in Rondônia. That’s not the case.

To the peasants, AND surely reaffirms itself in its firm and unbreakable compromise.
