Brazil – Political Motion demands boycott to Israel and the End of Zionist Intervention in Brazil

Hereby we publish an unofficial translation of an article by A Nova Democracia.

The Political Motion “Down with the Zionist Intervention in Brazil” was submitted at the Political Event “No Step Back: Stop the Extermination in Gaza and the Zionist Intervention in Brazil,” promoted by the newspaper A Nova Democracia (AND) and the Brazil-Palestine Institute (IBRASPAL), held on May 27 at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Other organizations can sign the motion at the link at the end.

Political Motion
Down with the Zionist Intervention in Brazil

The movements, entities, personalities, and democratic and revolutionary signatories of this Motion, submit at the culmination of the present Political Event, unanimously decided to raise their voices against the new face of Nazism, Nazi-Zionism, reaffirming their purpose to stop the extermination in Gaza and the Zionist intervention in Brazil, as part of the internationalist effort and in defense of the Palestinian national liberation struggle.

First, we firmly and resolutely express our complete repudiation of PL 472/25, authored by General Eduardo Pazuello, which seeks to illegalize the Palestinian cause in Brazilian territory by vilifying and cowardly manipulating the term antisemitism, equating it with all criticism of the Zionist State of Israel.

Second, we demand that the Brazilian state, through its competent authorities and particularly the federal government, break all diplomatic and commercial relations with the Nazi-Zionist entity, prohibit all collaboration with the security organs of “Israel,” and impose economic sanctions; we consider that failing to break relations with the Zionist entity is an outrage, just as it would be outrageous not to break relations with Hitler’s Germany during the Holocaust.

Third, we urge all democratic, progressive, and revolutionary activists and personalities to engage in the formation of Committees of Support for Palestine or to promote those already existing throughout the country; we urge these Committees to promote public agitation in defense of Palestine in gathering centers, in rural villages, and in the poor neighborhoods of cities!

We reaffirm the conviction that the Palestinian people, firmly united around the Palestinian National Resistance and its national liberation organizations, will inevitably triumph.
