Spanish State: Revolutionary Committees release statement on the martyrdom of Comrade Basavaraj
Hereby we share an unofficial translation of a statementand a leaflet of the Revolutionary Committees of the Spanish State.
The past 21st of May, Nambala Keshava Rao, better know as Comrade Basavaraj, was murdered by reactionary forces of the Indian State. Diverse organizations of various countries are developing supporting, solidarity and diffusion actions to the People’s War in India. There also has been an international call for the realization of actions.
Apart the revolutionary committees we want to join the actions of support of the People’ War in India. We share a leaflet that we will divulge in some cities. Any person that is ready this, is free to download, print and divulge it, on its own account.

The past 21st of May, Nambala Keshava Rao, better know as Comrade Basavaraj, was murdered by repressive forces of the Indian State. In the marc of the genocidal operation of counterinsurgency “Operation Kagaar”, the imperialists and reactionaries planned to annihilate the People’s War, that is liberating millions of oppressed. They won’t achieve it.
What is the People’s War in India?
One of the major revolutionary processes on the face of earth. The Communist Party of India (Maoist), together with the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), is liberating millions of oppressed. They free the worker from the brutal imperialist exploitation, the poor peasant without land giving it to them by taking it from the big landlords, free the women from the Brahmanic-Hindu semi-feudal yoke. The People’s War free millions, construct a new world, a new democratic State, of workers and peasants, meanwhile they confront the old Indian State, which is serving the imperialists, the big landlords and feudal classes. Together with the People’s Wars that are developing in Turkey, the Philippines and Peru, the People’s War in India is the first trench line of the world revolution.
Who is the Comrade Basavaraj?
The General Secretary of the CPI(Maoist). The Comrade Basavaraj forged himself in an intense class struggle in more the five decades. He served to the people with all his heart, with absolute abnegation, and for this he was loved by the poor in India. On the other hand he was hated and feared in the same intensity by the Indian State and the fascist government of Modi. His death is part of the counterinsurgency campaign “Operation Kagaar”, a real war against the people that longs to end the People’s War and to annihilate physically, by the use of genocide, the Revolutionary People’s Committees, the backbone of the red power.
Let us support the People’s War in India!
On the side of Basavaraj other 26 comrades guerrilla fighters were murdered by the reaction. The reactionary Indian State wants to annihilate the People’s War to maintain the oppressed and expired society, but it won’t achieve it. The repression doesn’t end end the revolution, but it makes it stronger. All revolutionaries and anti imperialists of the world need to support it.
