According to various sources, including the Revolutionary Students’ Front (RSF), Narasimha Chalam, whose nom de guerre was Sudhakar, was killed on June 5 in the area of the National Park in Bijapur. Comrade Sudhakar was a member of the Central Committee and was killed alongside Telangana State Committee member Mailarapu Adelu, whose nom de guerre was Bhaskar. Both were detained along with several other Maoist leaders, and Indian organizations have called for an end to extrajudicial executions and for trials for the remaining prisoners.
The Telangana Civil Rights Association reported that Sudhakar was executed while already in the custody of Indian repressive forces. This method is typically employed by the old Indian state, and it is very likely that this is how the assassination of Comrade Basavaraj occurred, as previously noted.
Indian reactionary sources have claimed that this murder took place during an armed confrontation, a narrative that has been widely debunked by numerous Indian organizations. Various Parties and organizations have strongly condemned the murders of different Maoists in Chhattisgarh and have demanded judicial investigations into both the assassination of Sudhakar and that of Suresh.
The Coordination of Organizations for Democratic Rights (CDRO) and the People’s Union for Civil Liberties (PUCL) have stated that the current “Black Forest” operation is marked by a pattern of indiscriminate killings and reflects “a systematic extermination policy, circumventing the justice system and ignoring constitutional norms.”
On Sunday night, funeral rites were held in his hometown of Satyavolu, Eluru district.
