India: One Paramilitary Eliminated in the Saranda Forest

According to recent reports one Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) paramilitary was eliminated in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast early Saturday (14 June). The Indian repressive forces are currently launching an anti-Naxalite operation along the Odisha-Jharkhand border. The paramilitary eliminated was part of a team in a search mission in the Saranda forest.
The operation was launched by the CRPF paramilitary forces, and the Odisha and Jharkhand police. The search operation initiated after a great action by the Moist guerrillas who seized more than 5 tonnes of explosives from a stone quarry in this same area.
