Meeting Held in Russia Marks 1st of May and Establishment of the AIL
We hereby share a report that we received per e-mail.
A meeting was held in Russia to mark the establishment of the International Anti-Imperialist League (AIL) and International Workers’ Day on 1 May. The Russian Communists wish to convey to their comrades in the international communist movement their full solidarity and assurances of unity in aims and objectives.
The creation of the Anti-Imperialist League marks the establishment of a leading centre in the global anti-imperialist movement. It marks the strengthening of a genuine anti-imperialist line – a line of opposition to all imperialists, not just one of them. This is a line of support for the struggle of the proletariat and the struggle of the oppressed nations, not the falsification of the working class’s struggle in a reformist-legalist, electoral and economistic vein, nor a line of slavish submission to one of the imperialist powers under the false slogans of imperialist ‘democracy’,‘anti-fascism/anti-nazism’, ‘anti-islamism’, ‘human rights’ and the like. Shortly before 1 May, in the heart of ‘our’ imperialist monster, Moscow, the founding congress of the Sovinter was held – an anti-communist, fake ‘international’ of organisations, which was directly created by Russian imperialism and blessed by the genocidal executioner Putin. In our May Day greeting, we wish to emphasise the principled nature of genuine proletarian internationalism and anti-imperialism.
Our class has an ideology. This ideology is irreconcilable with imperialism and calls on us to completely destroy imperialism.
Down with imperialist aggression!
Long live the international solidarity of the working people!
Long live the First Congress of the International Anti-Imperialist League!
Long live the Anti-Imperialist League!
Down with all false ‘anti-imperialists’, reformists, opportunists and liquidationists!
Long live Marxism-Leninism-Maoism – the invincible ideology of the proletariat!
