G7 Puppet Show: #3 – William Ruto

In this years G7 summit, to be held in Evian, France, the scene has been set for a puppet show, with several lackey heads of State being invited to the summit. While the country-selling puppets make their little dance for the G7 summit, the imperialists wring their hands at the prospects of developing further the lackey character of these oppressed countries, and securing a bigger piece of the pie for themselves.

Puppet show # 3 – William Ruto

President of Kenya, William Ruto, showing time and time again that he will sell out his people for a bowl of lentils, has confirmed his attendance to the G7 summit. As rebellions brew against the increase of imperialist intervention in the country, William Ruto will grease his joints and retwine his strings, preparing himself as his name is called to the stage of the puppet show at the G7 summit.

Ruto has shown over the past years – with his various summits and State visits to the imperialist- and the sole hegemonic superpower – a clear intent of further subjugating the country to the interests of imperialism. As can be seen for instance with the recent Africa Forward summit organized by French imperialism.

In response to these transparent attacks on the people, protests organized against the Africa Forward summit have taken place, as well as a rebellion waged against the proposed Yankee imperialist Ebola quarantine center at Laikipia Airbase. In both cases the henchmen of imperialism was released on the courageous resistance of the Kenyan people, murdering for profit, and achieving nothing but the cementing of the Kenyan State and its repressive forces as an enemy of the Kenyan people. The Ruto government has attempted to drown in blood the many justified rebellions carried out by the Kenyan people over the past years. Despite the well-known brutality of the repressive forces, the masses have showed a great courage by taking to the streets and challenging the murderous Kenyan State’s troops.

The peoples of the world will add the crimes of Ruto the puppet, serving the interests of the criminal imperialists, to the ever growing list of imperialist crimes, as the G7 summit grows near. The anti-imperialist, democratic, revolutionary and progressive organizations and individuals will take to the street to show the imperialists and their puppets that wherever they may go, the struggle and rage of the people will follow.
