Yankee Imperialism Plans its Intervention Against Mexico in the G7 Summit

A few days ago, a preparatory phase of the G7 was held in Paris, where G7 finance ministers and central bank governors met, according to local Mexican media reports. More decisions are expected to be made during the G7 summit in Evian.

At this preliminary meeting in Paris, the US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent directly linked the “Sinaloa Cartel” to international terrorist organizations and called for greater firmness from “Washington’s allies against the financial networks, front companies, and logistical structures linked to drug trafficking.” In this way, Yankee imperialism continues its rhetoric to justify its criminal intervention in Latin America, as it did against Venezuela, ultimately kidnapping President Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores under the pretext of “combating narco-terrorism.”

As we have already reported, this is not the first time that Yankee imperialism has openly threatened numerous types of interventions against Mexico, including “ground operations” supposedly against drug cartels. Sol Rojo México already reported on the Yankee intervention on February 22, in which US imperialism led the operation.

At the “Shield of the Americas” summit, the use of the “war on drug trafficking” was a key issue that Yankee imperialism is using, along with its lackeys, to prepare future aggressions against the peoples of Latin America.
