Turkey: Process Against the Detainees in Ankara Started

We hereby share an unofficial translation of an article published by Yeni Demokrasi on 26th of June. In a previous article published on the 25th of June, it has been mentioned that the Partizan readers “are in good spirit and health”.


Those detained in Ankara are continuing to be transferred to the courthouse. The questioning of the prosecutor has begun.

On June 23, hundreds of people, including readers of Partizan, were detained in house raids in Ankara before the NATO Summit. Of those brought to court yesterday, 69 were arrested.

The other individuals in custody have begun giving their statements to the prosecutor. The detained Partizan readers also started giving their statements to the prosecutor today.
