Yankee imperialism has once again violated its own ceasefire, striking in its increasing desperation positions in Southern Iran after what it describes as an Iranian attack on an oil tanker. In response Iran has launched multiple defensive strikes against the US military bases in the Gulf.

After the renewed military aggression of Yankee imperialism in its war of aggression on Iran – striking among other targets Qeshm island, Taherui in the Sirik region and the city of Bandar-e Lengeh – Iran has responded in full, announcing that eight Yankee bases has been targeted in their latest response to the US attacks.

Iran states that continued American military operations amount to a direct violation of both the memorandum and international law, warning that any further attacks could derail the diplomatic process altogether.

In a statement issued before dawn on Sunday, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that its naval and aerospace forces carried out a joint operation, striking with ballistic missiles and drones eight important US military sites, including Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait and the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet at Mina Salman in Bahrain.

The statement also warned that any future American attack—”even if it targets secondary objectives, as happened last night”—would be met with what it described as a “crushing response.”
