Yankee imperialism is murdering Mexican fishermen in its criminal campaign of aggression in the Caribbean and Pacific, according to several US reports. At least eight Mexican fishermen were murdered by US missile strikes on fishing boats in February, bourgeois media reports. There are reports of sailors from the Mexican town La Cruz de Huanacaxtle disappearing on the same dates that boat strikes were reported by the Yankee military. Two Mexican fishers from Puerto San Carlos were also murdered in March.

This murderous campaign has destroyed at least 67 vessels and murdered at least 221 people since September 2025. The latest of these attacks occurred on June 21st. Since the start of this campaign, US fishermen who head out to catch tuna, sharks and other fish far offshore, become target of US bombs.

US press monopolies recently reported that there has been a long pause in the deadly strikes against the fishing boats in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific, now after 11 months, US officials are uncertain about the strikes. According to official data, the amount of cocaine seized has declined but is still reaching US territory in great amounts. The head of US Southern Command, Marine Corps Gen. Francis Donovan acknowledged the failure of the US campaign by stating: “Boat strikes aren’t the answer”.
