Chile: Propaganda Actions 5 Years After the Murder of Chairman Gonzalo

We hereby share some pictures received per email of graffiti actions carried out in La Serena, Coquimbo Region.
The message states that the actions were carried out “five years after the assassination carried out against Chairman Gonzalo by the old State of Peru, reactionaries, and Yankee imperialism, in conjunction with the revisionist ROL rats.”
They highlight that he gave his life for the People’s War, and the world revolution, “shattering into a million pieces the sinister plans of Yankee imperialism and the reactionaries to annihilate the People’s War, which continues to thrive and triumph under the PCP against the revisionist and opportunist rats of the ROL who exploit the glorious Peruvian Revolution, in collusion with the reaction, to spread capitulation and put an end to the Peruvian Revolution.”
The graffiti was painted on the engineering campus of the University of La Serena, known as “Domeyco,” and the hand-painted banner was hung at night on the “Isabel Bongart” Humanities Campus of the same university; in addition, leaflets were distributed “in honor of the Great Proletarian Leader, the greatest Marxist-Leninist-Maoist of our era and successor to Marx, Lenin, and Chairman Mao Tsetung.”
They conclude their message with the following slogans:
Honor and eternal glory to Chairman Gonzalo!
Long live the Great Proletarian Revolution in Peru!
Long live Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, mainly Maoism, and Chairman Gonzalo’s contributions of universal validity!
Down with the revisionist rats of the ROL and “Movadef”!
Chairman Gonzalo is not dead; he lives on in us!
