On December 25th, a road rally was organized by the Revolutionary Students’ Front (RSF) in Jadavpur 8B, calling for burning the memory of Manusmriti [Translator’s note: the fundamental laws of Hinduism] in the red fire of Naxalbari, against the Brahminical Hindutva fascist aggression in India and the continuous killing of minorities, Dalits, and tribals by fascism across the country, and against the implementation of NRC [Translator’s note: National Register of Citizens, a census portrayed by the old Indian State that could leave social and religious groups without rights and citizenship] in the name of SIR [Translator’s note: Special Intensive Revision , is a large-scale verification exercise to carry out a larger control of the Indian population].
