Lebanon: 45 Israeli Soldiers Wounded as Resistance Keeps up Defensive Operations

Israel has escalated even further their aggressions in the south of Lebanon, striking heavily several areas within the span of hours on Sunday, the 25th of April, resulting in the murder of at least seven civilians. This all while the ceasefire should still be in effect, of which Israel has already made many breaches. The resistance combatants of Lebanon continues to defend the southern areas, and have made several operations over the last few days.
Israel struck, according to Al-Manar, the towns of Zawtar al-Gharbiya and Zawtar al-Sharqiya in the Nabatieh district. Israel also carried out artillery shelling on the Ali al-Taher heights, as well as the area between the towns of Zawtar and Mayfadoun.
According to Israeli press, “the Israeli army is bogged down in the Lebanese quagmire.”, and that the so-called yellow zone is far from occupied, and “dozens or hundreds of Hezbollah fighters remain inside […], operating with guerrilla warfare tactics.”
According to the State of Israel 45 Israeli soldiers wounded over the last 48 hours, bringing the total of acknowledged wounded soldiers since the ceasefire to 131.
Hezbollah stated on Saturday that it carried out what it described as a response to Israeli strikes on civilians in the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif in southern Lebanon, where resistance combatants carried out a drone strike against an Israeli Namer vehicle, reportedly resulting in a direct hit.
An Israeli Hermes 450-Zik drone was also reportedly shot down by resistance combatants.
