Criminals of the G7 Summit: #3 The United Kingdom

Once again, imperialist forces will rear their ugly heads and gather at the yearly G7 summit that will be held in Évian-les-Bains, France. As they attempt to subject the peoples of the world to their domination, exploitation and murderous aggression, they are facing the growing resistance of the peoples of the world. In response to this summit a mass demonstration has been called in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Group of Seven, or G7, gathers the sole hegemonic imperialist superpower and six of the richest imperialist powers operating within the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and consists of the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and Italy. Each year they gather to discuss and plan economic, political and military strategy, sharpening their blades for yet another repartition of the world.

But who are the participants of this summit?

The United Kingdom

Next is The United Kingdom, united in name only, the colonizer of the world and butcher of the oppressed.

• No other country comes close to the imperialist campaigns of subjugation put forth by the UK throughout history, controlling at one point 57 colonies and nearly 30% of the world, and still controlsmultiple of them to this day, conquered through systematic genocides and oppression.
• Architect of genocide, with the orchestration of the Irish Potato Famine, causing the murder and emigration of, in total, more than 3,000,000 people, as well as the brutal genocide of the indigenous in Australia, the unspeakable atrocities brought down on the Mau Mau rebellion in Kenya or the many acts of brutality and genocide carried out against the Indian people.
• Orchestrator, together with Yankee imperialism, of the war of aggression on Iraq, with the fabrication of the claims of weapons of mass destruction by Tony Blair, and the consequent murder of over 1,200,000 Iraqi people.
• Historic oppressor of the Palestinian people and ardent supporter of the genocidal State of Israel, exporting millions of pounds worth of weapons to Israel every year, while enacting criminal laws against their own population who raise high the torch of Palestinian resistance.
• The current and formercolonies of the “United” Kingdom are home to some of the fiercest resistance movements in history, forged on the battlefield against their oppressors, be it in India, Ireland, Kenya, or the countless other rebellions waged in the name of national liberation in British colonies.

Wherever the genocidal criminals of the United Kingdom walk, fires of rebellion spread like wildfire on prairie grass. While they wring their hands and plot their next move to fill their already overflowing purse, the people will block their path. As the G7 summit grows near, any democratic, progressive and anti-imperialist organization or individual will heed the call and take to the streets against the G7 summit.
