Mexico: New actions in the #DrSernasPresentaciónConVida campaign

In the eve of the International Day of the Detained-Disappeared, we share some images with the demand of Doctor Ernesto Sernas García be presented with life, who disappeared on 10th of May of 2018 in San Agustín de las Juntas, Oaxaca. In different places of Oaxaca, Mexico and the world it is possible to see the face and name of Dr. Sernas on the walls as part of the international campaign #DrSernasPresentaciónConVida
At the time of his disappearance, Dr. Sernas was working as a defense attorney of 23 militants of CP – Red Sun accused of terrorism and possession of explosive of restricted use for the Mexican army, who were detained together with other people on 7th of June of 2015 and detained in different high security prisons. After the defense done by Dr. Sernas García some prosecuted people obtained their absolution on 2018, showing that the regime fabricated the crimes by making up a farce trial against the detained and tortured activists. Three days after this acquittal, our comrade was disappeared and for this reason we affirm that it was the State!
Five years have passed and so far the State and federal authorities have not presented a search plan that would allow Dr. Ernesto Sernas García to be located with life and, as previously reported, the only search actions carried out with life in these five years have been developed by the organization and the family of our comrade despite government obstacles.
Tomorrow, on 30th of August there will be combative mobilizations and again the face and name of our comrade will take the streets.
