Last Saturday, March 23rd, there was a demonstration in Saint Étienne, France, to celebrate the anniversary of the Paris Commune. The demonstration was called for by the Friends of the Commune 1871.

Recently, the Ligue de la Jeunesse Révolutionnaire has published magnificent images of the demonstration, which we share here.

In its message, LJR explains that “Around a hundred people were present in a combative demonstration to celebrate that it is not something of the past and of the dead”
