Actions for the Martyrs’ Week in India
In July the Communist Party of India Maoist (CPI(Maoist), which leads the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) and the People’s War against the old Indian State, called to observe the Week of Commemoration of the Martyrs from 28th July to 3rd of August. You can find the call here.

Reportedly in Kalahandi, Odisha, a banner and a commemorative structure for the martyrs’ week have been witnessed.
In West Singhbhum, Jharkhand, posters and banners calling the people to join the martyrs’ week have been seen.
In other countries there have been also actions in solidarity for the martyrs’ week. In Philippines, the Communist Party of Philippines (CPP) which commands the New People’s Army (NPA) and leads the People’s War against the old Filipino State, has issued a statement in solidarity with the CPI (Maoist), which we have shared here.
In Germany actions have been done, for example carrying out posters and bringing the genocidal Operation Kagaar to a demonstration for Palestine in Dortmund. Graffiti have been done also in Essen and Cologne.
