International Day of the Disappeared

We report on actions carried out regarding the international Day of the Disappeared:

The Revolutionary Committees in the Spanish State did a series of actions. In Madrid, they held a rally on August 30 in front of the Mexican embassy. They put up to banners at the gates of the embassy, one with the face and one with the name of Dr. Ernesto Sernas García. The attendees uphold placards with the poster published by Mexican Solrojista for the day.

At the university of Hamburg, Germany, a graffito was done:

National-democratic groups in the Philippines, together with families, friends and supporters of the victims of forced disappeared, commemorated the International Day of the Disappeared. Groups launched a protest in front of the Supreme Court to call for the appearance of all the missing persons and to hold the military, police and reactionary state accountable for this violence. Youth groups went to Camp Aguinaldo in Quezon City to charge the AFP with the abduction and disappearance of Rowena Dasig, a young environmental and human rights defender from Calabarzon.
